NYMEX natural gas spot month (April) has support at 1.85, then 1.60 with resistance at 2.00, then 2.15. Balance of Calendar Year 2016 has support at 2.08 then 2.00 with resistance at 2.26 then 2.40. Cal 2017 has support at 2.63 then 2.47 with resistance at 2.76 then 2.82.

Spot NYMEX natural gas (April) has support at 1.65 with resistance at 2.00, then 2.34. Balance of Calendar Year 2016 has support at 2.00 with resistance at 2.12 then 2.20. Cal 2017 has support at 2.45 with resistance at 2.60 then 2.70.

If you’re someone who predicted the length and breadth of the fall in energy prices, you’re the exception. For most of us, we didn’t see this train coming or how long it was. Most of the bullish noise came at the top of the market and, as is currently the case, the bearish noise level has increased.
